API keys allow PitchPad to securely connect to platforms (like YouTube, Twitch, etc.) on your behalf. They do not give access to your login, password, or private data, and you can revoke them at any time.
- PitchPad encrypts your API keys and stores them locally on your computer. They are never uploaded or shared.
- Each platform provides a limited request quota, which PitchPad uses for tasks like searching for creators or updating stats. For normal use, the free quota is more than sufficient, and the app shows you an estimate of your current usage. For exact information, you can always check the platform’s own dashboard.
